01Who we are

Launch-E is a brand operated by Ascend Digital Ventures LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. In this policy, "Launch-E," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Ascend Digital Ventures LLC.

We provide e-commerce business education, coaching, and operational support services to entrepreneurs in the United States. This policy applies to launch-e.com and to the communications we send to people who contact us, apply to our programs, or subscribe to our messaging programs.

We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Our full contact and entity details are in Section 13.

02Information we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run our programs.

Information you give us

Information we collect automatically

When you visit our website we collect standard technical information: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and the dates and times of those visits. We use this to keep the site working, to understand which content is useful, and to detect abuse.

What we do not collect

We do not collect payment card numbers or bank account details through this website. We do not knowingly collect government identification numbers, health information, biometric data, or precise geolocation.

03How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• Review and respond to your application to work with us
• Contact you about your application, your enrollment, and your account
• Deliver the education, coaching, and support services you have signed up for
• Send you the email newsletters and SMS messages you have specifically asked to receive
• Provide customer service and answer your questions
• Maintain records of the consent you have given us, which we are required to keep
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
• Comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it. We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

04SMS text messaging program

Launch-E operates an SMS text messaging program for people who explicitly ask to receive text messages from us. Participation is entirely voluntary.

How you opt in

You join our SMS program only by taking a clear, affirmative action: ticking a dedicated, unchecked SMS consent box on a Launch-E form and providing your mobile number, or by texting a keyword to our number. SMS consent boxes are always separate from any box used to accept our Terms of Service, and are never pre-ticked.

We ask for two separate SMS consents. You may give either, both, or neither, and each is independent of the other:

We only send marketing texts if you ticked the marketing box. Opting out of one does not automatically opt you out of the other, though replying STOP stops all messages.

What we send

Messages relate to your application status, appointment and coaching-call reminders, onboarding and account information, program updates, and occasional promotional offers about Launch-E programs.

Confirmation message

After opting in, you will receive a confirmation message: "You've opted in to receive SMS messages from Launch-E by Ascend Digital Ventures LLC. Messages may include account alerts, setup instructions, support updates, reminders, and promotional offers if marketing consent was provided. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help."

Supported carriers

Supported US carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, US Cellular, Virgin Mobile, and most other major carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent records

When you opt in, we record the date, time, IP address, and the exact disclosure text you agreed to. We keep this record for as long as you remain opted in, and afterwards for as long as we need it to show that the consent was properly obtained.

05Mobile information and third parties

Your mobile phone number and your SMS opt-in are treated differently from every other category of information we hold. They are subject to the following commitment:

In plain terms: we will never sell, rent, or hand your mobile number or your SMS consent to another company so that they can market to you. The only parties who ever see it are the service providers who help us deliver our own messages and support you, described in Section 06, and they may use it only for that purpose.

06How we share information

We share personal information only in the limited circumstances below.

Mobile information and SMS opt-in data are excluded from all sharing other than the service-provider category above, as stated in Section 05.

07Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site functioning and secure. Analytics cookies help us understand which pages people find useful, in aggregate.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles about you across unrelated websites.

08Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as we have a reason to. Application details are retained for the duration of our relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterwards. Marketing contact details are retained until you unsubscribe or opt out. SMS consent records are retained for as long as required to evidence the consent. Records we must keep for tax, accounting, or legal reasons are retained for the period the relevant law requires. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it.

09Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and vetted service providers to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.

10Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Delete your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations
• Obtain a portable copy of information you provided to us
• Opt out of marketing email, marketing SMS, or both
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires. You may also unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in any email we send, and from SMS at any time by replying STOP.

California residents. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

11Children's privacy

Launch-E is intended for adults. Our services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will give you additional notice by email or through the website before they take effect. Continuing to use our services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
